About me

Hi!

I am Karthik Sivaram. I currently live in Australia and work for a technology company. I have been writing code since I was about 10 years old [I used to literally 'write' code on pieces of paper, debug it on paper, and then try it out when I could hire a PC for an hour or so]. Every language I know, I have learnt on my own and I am proud of that. Programming languages are just an expression of logic, so the ability to think logically is what I am proud of most.

I have a lot of interests apart from programming, and that includes a great deal of gadget fetish :-). At one point I used to buy a new mobile phone every 6 months. In short, I own a lot of gadgets [whether I use them or not is an entirely different issue]. I love my PS3 and have quite a few games for it. As you can see I like technology, I like the fact that, deep down, its all just 0s and 1s, man-made.

My wife and I love dogs, though we haven’t got one right now. And my wife is a great cook => I am getting fatter.
